SAF clearly missed me out for my first regular pay. But they will back pay me next month lah. Plus my study bonus...!!! Heehee.

Blah. Work today was boring. Anyway I gotten my uniforms and all, but the name tag's not sewn up yet. So meanwhile I'll stick with civilian wear. This is the third week already. Like, 10 more weeks to go? ARGH...

Went to 38degrees in Hong Kong Street last night. 6 of us(Me, Eugene, WeiJie, Loupee, Herman and YongLin), 2 bottles of Chivas. The pub closes at 2am, and after which the guys decided to head down to MOS. Like...okie...

Again, 2 bottles of Chivas. I wonder how we drank so much last night. Saw Jasmine in MOS. Hmmm... Nair mind. Reached home at around 7 in the morning. Slept till 8 at night. Haha. Going Obar tonight!

Went to drink on Friday. Didn't drink much. Just hang out and relax.

Eugene's girlfriend, Michelle (we call her Mimi) called us in for house-warming on Saturday. At the condo at the foot of Mount Faber. Nice place. Met Louis (Loupee we call him. I want a nick name too. I remember my Literature teacher used to call me Tiong Tiong.) at HabourFront at 1pm. Had our lunch and went to meet Eugene and went up Mimi's place. Headed down to the basketball court. So happy. Haha. BASKETBALL!!! TianJin (Ah Gum) came and we headed for a swim. Went into the sauna too. SHIOK! Went to prepare for the bbq at around 5:30pm. WeiJie came with his girlfriend Winnie. Then came Ah mao and XinZhu. Had lots of fun. I kept eating. And kept getting teased by Eugene. And got fooled by Loupee. Haha. And Ah Wei came too after his work.

Went down to Boat Quay to drink again. My treat. Then went home to play DOTA. One whole week never play. Cannot tahan. Haha.

Mum was telling me about one of my cousin. And my Dad is unhappy about another cousin. And my uncle had his funeral yesterday morning. And...and... Nairmind. I think I need a template. Lazy to do. Or find. Maybe some kind soul would like to do a template for me? Muahaha.

I came home this evening and the first thing I was told was that my uncle died an accident.

Heard of the accident that occured in the construction site? The one about 3 who died and 3 injured?

I was kind of stunned. Even though I wasn't close with this uncle of mine. One thing is he isn't a Lim. He was given to my Grandma's brother. So he had my Grandma's surname, Luo. But still, he is my uncle.

I don't know much about him. But he was nice. I had the feeling he was the good husband, good father kind of guy. He was the fourth son of my grandparents. My father had 10 siblings. And the third uncle of mine died in a construction accident too. And that happened a long time ago. I had never seen him in my life.

Nair mind. Let's not talk about this already. I don't know what else to say anyway.

Work today was fine. Time passed quickly as I had things to do. And I got my own locker already so I can start bringing stuff like clothes and stuff in case I would like to take a shower in camp. Should be able to get my temporary pass and uniform by next week.

And I went to take my new glasses. Know those black rim, plastic kind of glasses? Those very nerdy kind of glasses? Ha.

I can't wait for the weekends to come. Herman you're right. When we start working 8 to 5 we just can't wait for the weekends to come every week. 2 more days!

And the title says it all again. Right. I have to wait till July for my BMT in Tekong.

Anyway, work today was fine. I did had something to do.

Tired as usual. Guess it's probably because I'm still not used to it. Woke up at 0545 this morning. Reached Nee Soon Camp at 0700.

Saw Mervin. Chatted with him for awhile, then slowly walked to my unit.

Probably something to lighten up my mood a little. I should be able to get my uniform and my temporary pass by next week. Which means I get to skip the process of having to change for passes twice everytime I come in, and twice again as I leave the camp.

And I wouldn't be walking around in civilian. I'm super obvious lor. Everyone else is in either their uniform or the PT kit.

Except me.

I want to watch IceAge2. Fairy you hear? Haha.

The title says it all. Back to blogging that is.

Reported for work at 0800 this morning. Met YongLin at 0645 and took a ride from his friend to Nee Soon Camp. Supposedly I were to wait at the guard house at 0755 for my chief clerk. I was there at 0705.

Nair mind.

Wait lor.

First day of work was fine. Though I had pretty much nothing to do. Or should I say, I can't do anything. Everyone there was surprised that I got posted there when I haven even passed out from BMT.

What to do?

No. Nothing we can do.

Got orientated a little bit, went back to the office and 'work'. My unit's classified, so I can't say much about work.

People there were friendly.

Food's okay.

Towards the end of the day, I heard from my captain that he was asking if it's possible to send me to Tekong for BMT these few days. Think there's an intake this week.

PLEASE LET ME GO TEKONG!

I don't really want to waste my 3 months of life.

Then I went to Causeway Point and got myself a second hand no-camera hand phone.

I seriously hope to hear the good news tomorrow.
